Welcome to My Learning Journal

This computer networking blog will track my independent study progress in the area of computer networking and internets. I am currently a graduate student at the California University of Management and Technology, where I study computer science and information technology. I will be using Douglas E. Comer's Computer Networks and Internets, 5th Edition, and blogging periodically to summarize what I'm learning. I also hope to incorporate some hands-on network tinkering time, as I have significant experience setting up and maintaining small scale home LAN/WANs and small business networks. I am looking forward to expanding my knowledge and expertise in this area.
